Overview
Clinical documentation is one of the most demanding tasks for healthcare providers today. Making the transition from paper to paperless charting can be a daunting task. The Bernoulli® Flowsheets are an interactive reporting tool that streamlines daily workflow, and allows for more comprehensive and accurate patient assessment. The automation of the flowsheet helps create more therapist time at the bedside, while the data is instantly available for EMR(Electronic Medical Record). The Flowsheet Reporting tool provides the ability to add clinical notes, and create custom fields such as blood gases and cuff pressures. Alarm colors are configurable for highlighting specific data points, while the system allows for the printing of multiple patient records.

In fact, time is money! AARC Guideline states that it takes on average, 14 minutes for patient assessment and flowsheet documentation.
  • AARC Guideline minutes per manual ventilator check = 7
  • Ventilator Checks per day per ventilator = 12
  • Minutes per ventilator per day saved using Bernoulli® automated ventilator checks: 12x7=84
  • Representative facility has 16 ventilators in use: 84 x16=1344 minutes per day saved!
  • 1344 minutes per day saved = 22.4 labor hours saved per day!
Pictured inset is a snapshot of a typical flowsheet generated automatically.

For hospitals with EMR platforms, the Bernoulli® flowsheet can be sent directly to the EMR via HL7. For hospitals without EMR, Bernoulli is the ideal standalone charting solution for respiratory devices. To sign up for a 30-day clinical trial, click here.
