Inbound ADT
Utilizing existing network infrastructure, the HL7 ADT (Admit/Discharge/Transfer) module
will allow HL7-compliant hospital information systems to send ADT messages to Bernoulli®. Bernoulli® will acknowledge these messages when needed and make the necessary changes to the information stored in the Bernoulli® database. The ADT interface
will handle A01, A02, A03, A08, A11, A12, A13, A17, A34 and A35 messages. Patients are tracked by the Bernoulli® Patient Id which corresponds to the internal Patient ID field (PID3).
