System Training
Training is offered for first time installations, and can be tailored to meet a variety of other needs such as new staff training, refresher training, and software update training after a software update has been purchased. Training on the Bernoulli Information System is a critical step during the installation process. A typical Bernoulli installation requires 2 to 3 days of in-service education. We strongly recommend that the customer’s in-service education coordinator manage the education process. If the coordinator is not available another individual should be appointed to schedule and coordinate the in-service process. We encourage a “train the trainer” approach which designates certain individuals as the resident “Bernoulli Experts.” Theses individuals will become the customer’s training resource after the Cardiopulmonary installation and training team leaves the hospital.

Advanced equipment and software training will be given to those people designated by the customer as “super users”. These individuals will become the authorized contacts for Bernoulli service support. All “super users” will receive the basic Bernoulli training but in addition will be provided information about Bernoulli software in much more detail. The student will be taught how to access and configure the system via the Bernoulli control panel. This knowledge will permit the student to configure various aspects of the Bernoulli screens, determine which alarms are audible on the Bernoulli workstation, which alarms are transmitted to the pager. They will also be given advanced instruction in Bernoulli troubleshooting.
